ER trip for Madeline

It's surprising we've dodged this bullet up until now.....our luck has run out! Last night we took Madeline to UNC's ER to close a gash in her lip courtesy of the metal foot plate on one of our bar stools. This pic is before she was stitched uo. Luckily it only took one suture. We were quite asight coming in with Madeline's busted lip and my hand wrapped from surgery last Friday. They gave Ryan quite a look!

Aidan is gearing up for baseball season already!

Best Friends

Aidan and Madeline are best friends. They love the Carolina Tarheels. This is one of many perks of living in Chapel Hill...lots of sporting events and UNC paraphernalia. We recently received good news that Aidan has been accepted to St. Thomas More for kindergarten in the fall. This is the same catholic school Anne attended with her sisters growing up in CH years ago!! What will our little friends do without each other at school next year? Guess we'll cross that bridge when the time comes.
