FDSK

FDSK-Fire Department Smith Kids. Look at them in action!!!

Marbles Kids Museum

Maw Maw came to town and we went to Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. It was a blast for Aidan and Madeline. There were tons of interactive exhibits which worn the kids out! The best part was the area that had all the transportation/dress up stuff. Aidan loved being a mailman and both kids were great firepeople....more on that in another entry!

Snow Tubing!

We took this kids to Winterplace Resort in West Virginia over MLK weekend. It was a nice time and they had a blast snow tubing. They had just received a nice amount of snow which was super! Aidan and Madeline were so excited to see mountains...it was their first time to experience this! It will be even better next year when Aidan is tall enough to hit the larger tubing runs.

Jammy Time!

Hockey Time

Aidan and Madeline really love hockey! They like to play with the sticks and goal on the driveway. We took the kids to the Hurricanes pre-game skate and the kids loved watching the Canes practice. There were fun activities including a jupiter jump for the kids.

Get those candles!

The kids are really becoming pros at birthday celebrations. The candles are their favorites with opening presents as a close second!

Madeline on the Potty

Madeline is starting to use the potty. Yippeee! She still is wearing diapers, but has began to use the potty from time to time. Aidan is always present to cheer her on! Success is rewarded with a jelly belly. Mom and Dad are excited at the thought of no more diaper changing. We'll see how soon she becomes full-time.

Recycling Fun

We are trying to do a better job of recycling since our move to NC. Aidan and Madeline always find a way into the boxes and papers when we are trying to organize everything for recycling pick up. Aidan especially enjoys dragging his sister around in a box. You can tell Madeline thinks it's quite fun, too! Who knew a cardboard box could be so much fun?!?!?
