Here Come the Holidays!

It's time, they're here,

THE HOLIDA YS, the best time of the year. The tree is up, lights are hung, presents wrapped, the fun's just begun! Daddy hung lights outside for the first time this year. Aidan is really into the them. He is starting to understand who Santa is too. Madeline is more interested in presents, sparkly ornaments and ribbon. It should be fun for us as her 1st Christmas draws near!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving holiday in Dallas. It was a little crazy driving down, but we made it late Wednesday night. Madeline is cutting more teeth so she threw up on the trip down...not fun! We had a nice dinner at Maw Maw and Paw Paw's house and were able to go visit MeMe and Papa Don (with Ricco the parrot) on Friday. Aidan was really happy to see all of his friends and did a good job wearing out his Aunt Erinne. We tried to explain that he will soon have a cousin because Aunt Erin and Uncle Blake are expecting, but he didn't seem to get it. Both children really enjoyed meeting their great grandparents from New Mexico for the first time. It was wonderful to have everyone together...and Aidan our little performer really had a blast!

Two Teeth

Madeline finally cut not one, but two teeth this weekend! She seems much happier now that they are visible, but we have a sneaky suspicion that more are on the way. Like her brother, the teeth were accompanied by loose diapers and the "throw-ups." Fortunately, she didn't have a whole lot of these symptoms. They only lasted for a day and then her teeth were here! She is already putting her new teeth to work eating Cheerios like a big girl in her high chair. Hard to believe she is already doing all of these things!

My 1st Tea

Madeline recently attended her first tea party with Mommy at Tivoli Inn in Broken Arrow. It was a celebration for Leigh Kashwer, one of Mommy's great friends. Madeline enjoyed seeing all of the ladies.

Six Months Already?

Can 6 months have already gone by? Madeline is really growing up. If you look closely, you may see that our little girl is cutting her first teeth. Those 2 bottom ones will be in before we know it. Right now we can feel them trying to poking through. We've made the transition to the Britax car seat that Aidan has been riding. No more carrier for Madeline. She is too big (28 inches and 18 lbs.) Mommy is getting tennis elbow from trying to haul her around. Our girl loves school and has all of Aidan's former teachers. They say she's alot like her brother and seem to really enjoy having her in their room.
