Aidan's 4th Birthday!

Wow....what a birthday adventure for Aidan. Mommy had to be away at AZ corporate so we celebrated Aidan's birthday when she got back with a big party. Maw Maw, Madeline and Daddy were able to go to Aidan's party at school and also to dinner with Nana and Baba that night at Brick's Pizza. On Saturday, the day of his party, things started off not so well. Aidan was stung by a wasp in the clubhouse by the swing set. This was right when the party kicked off and made for a tough afternoon of celebrating....nothing that some cake and presents couldn't cure. We had visitors from Station 16 arrive at 4pm with their big fire truck. Lessons were given on fire safety, we learned about the truck, gear and even saw the lights, ladder go up and heard the sirens. It was a party to remember for sure!

Smith Center

The McGraths took us to the Smith Center tonight to play basketball and see all the cool Tarheel stuff. Aidan was in heaven! He loved seeing Tyler's locker along with playing on the court where the Tarheels play basketball. Kate, Addison, Madeline and Aidan were worn out after our little adventure. It was an awesome time! GO HEELS!

Yellow Fever-Go Aidan!

Here are some additional tee-ball pics. After sorting out the confusion of multiple Aidan Smiths, we learned that Aidan's team is the "yellow fever" and they had their first game to day. Aidan had two hits and lots of fun!

Sassy siblings!

Tee Ball

Aidan started tee ball last weekend. After some confusion around which team he was on (there were two Aidan Smiths) we learned that our guy is quite advanced compared to the other 3 and 4 year olds. He had some great hits, ran the bases well and fielded the ball with some great throws. We'll share some more pics as he has games through out the season. He is outfitted in all his gear...love those little white baseball pants!

'Sconsin

We spent a week and a half in Wisconsin for some vacation, relaxation and to "celebrate America's birthday" as Aidan calls it. Highlights of our trip included a Door Country Fish Fry, our first putt-putt adventure, biking, boating, bowling for the first time, campfire time, Cookie the cow, and riding airplanes! Fun was had by everyone.
