Happy Easter

Happy Easter 2008! The Easter Bunny was very good to us this year. He didn't bring much candy but instead some of our favorite fruits, new toothbrushes, toothpaste, egg shaped sidewalk chalk and some other fun goodies. We went to our usual 7:30 mass and then had brunch and an egg hunt at Nana and Baba's house. We were worn out after our big morning!

Coloring Eggs

We colored eggs for the first time this year. Aidan really liked making the different color combinations. Madeline was just happy to participate and kept cheering, "Eggs! Eggs! Eggs Mommy!"

Egg Hunt

Mommy's friends at Junior League hosted a breakfast and egg hunt at our regular meeting place, The Hill House. Aidan and Madeline were able to attend and have a great time. They had donuts and fruit, made crafts and found lots of eggs. Luckily, the Easter Bunny was too busy to make it. Aidan and Madeline are not a big fan of his this year. Aidan thinks he has scary teeth and Madeline doesn't like anything about him!

Spring Cleaning

Spring is in the air, so we've been doing some spring cleaning and yard work. Aidan and Madeline especially enjoyed spreading mulch after we had a large load delivered by a dump truck.

Caniac Party

We recently attended the Carolina Hurricanes season ticket holders party. It was great fun! We watched the Canes practice, had dinner, met players and took a slapshot on the ice. One of the highlights for Aidan was scoring a goal and meeting Erik Cole. Next time we hope to have time to tour the locker room/canes bench/penalty box and sit on the Zamboni with Stormy. Go CANES!

Hit 'em Straight

Aidan is becoming quite the golfer. He likes to play at Old Chatham with Baba and Finley with Daddy. Nice Swing! Not too shabby for a three year old, huh?

Baker's Man!

We celebrated Nana's birthday before she went to Utah with Baba. Aidan helped make this very, very tall chocolate cake with Aunt Katie. Everyone was impressed and it tasted great!
