Our Valentines

Aidan and Madeline had a great Valentine's Day. We started celebrating in early February with a neighborhood party where we made valentines for our friends. We put an exclamation point on the holiday with a "Friendship Party" at Aidan's school. These kids get into celebrating holidays!

Kerr Lake

We went to Cathy and Dave's lake house in Virginia over the weekend. The water was very low, but not too low to take the boat out! It was great weather and we had a wonderful time!

Marbles Kids Museum

Maw Maw came to town and we went to Marbles Kids Museum in Raleigh. It was a blast for Aidan and Madeline. There were tons of interactive exhibits which worn the kids out! The best part was the area that had all the transportation/dress up stuff. Aidan loved being a mailman and both kids were great firepeople....more on that in another entry!

Snow Tubing!

We took this kids to Winterplace Resort in West Virginia over MLK weekend. It was a nice time and they had a blast snow tubing. They had just received a nice amount of snow which was super! Aidan and Madeline were so excited to see mountains...it was their first time to experience this! It will be even better next year when Aidan is tall enough to hit the larger tubing runs.

Hockey Time

Aidan and Madeline really love hockey! They like to play with the sticks and goal on the driveway. We took the kids to the Hurricanes pre-game skate and the kids loved watching the Canes practice. There were fun activities including a jupiter jump for the kids.
