Aidan and Madeline helped celebrate Kiran's birthday at Spence's farm. The Baynes Court kids all had a great time!

Tarheel Rain Delay

We took the children to the Tarheel Football home opener last night. It was fun for the first hour and then the game was called due to lightening. We packed up and headed for home but heard that they resumed play after a 2 hour delay! We felt lucky to see the Tarheels score 2 TDs before we left. It was fun while it lasted!

NC Museum of Life and Science

Aidan and Madeline had a teacher workday last Monday so we went to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham. Their favorites included the butterfly house, train ride and outdoor percussion.

Our New Friend

Our new friend, Hunter, is finally here! Aidan and Madeline have been chomping at the bit to hold him. Good thing he lives next door so we can visit him often.

Aidan races Wool E. Bull

After a little stage fright, Aidan raced Wool E. Bull around the bases at the Durham Bulls game a few weeks ago. There were close to 7,500 people chanting "Aidan! Aidan!" as he turned the corner at third and beat Wool E. to home plate! Nice running little man!!!

Meet the Tarheels Football

Aidan and Madeline are members of the Carolina Kids Club and were invited to the Meet the Tarheels Football function. They received food, lunch coolers and were able to run on the field, play games and see the players. We ran out of patience (Madeline) so we didn't meet the players this time. It will be fun to meet all the other teams through out the year. Our next event is Tarheel Soccer later this month.

Gymboree

Aidan and Madeline attended their best friends' bday party at Gymboree. Kate and Addison just turned two and their party was a blast. Aidan and Madeline hadn't been to Gymboree before and had a great time. Lots of climbing, jumping and singing.
